This 1 day silicone painting course will teach you how to pigment silicone and paint Caucasian skin using the "In The Flesh" Silicone paint system created by LPFX Studio.
The IN THE FLESH Silicone Painting System is a collection 7 paint colors and a base tone for intrinsically coloring your silicone skin.
The pigments and system of painting work with Platinum and Tin cured silicone's so one kit will cover all your painting needs.
This system takes all the guess work out of painting silicone and allows even a beginner to quickly pick up the skills required to paint silicone to simulate real flesh.
In The Flesh is a culmination of 17 years of experience painting silicone skin for film and TV. "I created it as a way to quickly achieve a very real flesh look in the shortest possible time to combat the hard deadline we all face working in film and television."
Classes will be held once a month on a Saturday in Melbourne (see calendar below for dates)
The class size will be a maximum of 5 students.
The cost is $420 per student for the class, see below for what is included in the price.

- A starter "In The Flesh" Silicone Painting Kit
- The starter kit is 7 x 15ml paint colors and an 18ml skin tone to intrinsically color your silicone skin for painting.
- Full printed notes detailing the hows and whys of painting silicone along with all the steps that you will learn in class.

- Preparing the silicone skin for painting
- Mixing silicone syrup to use with silicone paints
- Accurately mixing paint so it is the correct translucency
- Painting in layers to create depth and translucency
- Using an airbrush to achieve the best skin looks
- Tricks to matching different types of skin
What to bring to class
- A Respirator (A 3m one from bunnings with an organic vapors filter is preferred )
- A Paache H single action airbrush with a number 3 nozzle. ( you can buy one by clicking here )
- A double action airbrush, I use and Iwatta Eclipse HP CS but any double action airbrush will do.
- A few paint brushes for silicone painting (Not make up brushes, just art paint brushes )
